Our Ethos

Our pupils are at the heart of all that Saltersgate has to offer. We aim to create a learning environment that encourages all our pupils to do the best they can in both an indoor and outdoor environment.

Pupils are eager to learn and staff have high expectations for pupil's learning and well being. Parents at our school are ambitious for their children to do well academically and to behave well. The Governors support the Leadership Team in its endeavours to improve all aspects of school life.

We believe that the experiences we provide for our pupils will enrich their lives in many ways, not just whilst they are here but also for many years to come. Our curriculum and the ethos we have at Saltersgate will help our pupils to become well rounded, self disciplined citizens of the world, with respect for others and a strong desire to continue learning throughout their lives.
